The problem
A new vehicle programme is not just a vehicle. An autonomous, connected eLCV only delivers last-mile mobility if there is a digital layer underneath it — connecting what the vehicle knows to the operators, customers and systems around it. At CUBONIC that layer did not exist yet; it had to be built from the ground up, in parallel with the vehicle itself.
What I built
- Built the digital infrastructure from zero rather than assembling it from off-the-shelf fleet tooling, so it fits an autonomous vehicle rather than a conventional one.
- Connected the vehicle and its autonomous driving stack into the wider CUBONIC ecosystem, so vehicle data becomes operational capability.
- Led AI strategy, private LLM deployment and agentic systems as part of the same backbone — the platform, the local model stack and the governance model are one programme, not three.
- Kept it aimed at the actual business outcome: sustainable last-mile delivery that works commercially, not a technology demonstration.
The outcome
The digital foundation the CUBONIC vehicle and ecosystem run on — and the platform the agentic and private-LLM work is built into.
